Institut für Marketing [IFM]

Organization

Prof. Dr. Manfred Krafft has been the director of the Institute of Marketing since January 2003, when he succeeded Prof. em. Dr. Dr. h. c. mult. Meffert. From 1999 to 2003. Prof. Dr. Krafft held the Otto Beisheim Endowed Chair of Marketing at the Wissenschaftlichen Hochschule für Unternehmensführung (WHU) in Koblenz. Prof. Dr. Krafft serves as the editor or reviewer for many top-ranked national and international journals, including  Marketing Science, Journal of Marketing, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of Interactive Marketing, and Zeitschrift für Betriebswirtschaft).

Prof. Dr. Krafft has published various articles in national and international journals (e.g. Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Marketing Science, Die Betriebswirtschaft, Zeitschrift für Betriebswirtschaft) and provided many contributions to edited volumes.

He is supported by a young and highly motivated team of Ph.D. students, student assistants, and an office manager. They work closely together in the fields of education, student concerns, and research and practice topics.
